From handing out tarps and donuts with his dad as a kid to building bridges for veterans today, giving back has always been at the heart of who Jesse is.
He joined the Army in 2013, expecting to serve just one term but instead found a deep sense of purpose in service, especially in mentoring new soldiers.
In 2022, Jesse was medically retired due to fibromyalgia. The transition wasn’t easy he faced depression, drinking, and a sense of being lost. But in the summer of 2023, he decided to take his life back.
He enrolled at Cypress College, found strength and community through the Veteran Resource Center, and began helping others navigate the transition from military to civilian life. It was then that his mission reignited one rooted in resilience, purpose, and giving back.
“Operation Nourish was built on the belief that no veteran should feel forgotten.”
We believe service does not end after military duty. Operation Nourish is committed to continuing that mission by giving back to veterans and families in need.
We strive to create meaningful connections that bring people together through outreach, support, and shared experiences.
Every individual we serve is treated with dignity, respect, and understanding regardless of their circumstances.
Through every meal, outreach event, and partnership, we aim to create lasting positive impact within the veteran community.

Our vision is to build a sustainable, community-driven organization that continues expanding outreach efforts, strengthening partnerships, and providing long-term support for veterans and military families. Through unity, compassion, and service, Operation Nourish aims to create lasting change one meal at a time.
